<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the sense of clicking in locking motion by folding the end of a track plate to be mounted on a car body and the end of a lock lever both at right angles, and installing an over-center spring between these folded edge parts. CONSTITUTION:A striker fixed to a car body is engaged by a latch in a guide groove, and the latch is rotated to generate its detention with a ratchet so as to be precluded from reverse rotation, and thus the door is shut. To generate locking at this time, an operational link is moved downward with rotation of an open level, wherein the ratchet is held fast at the latch to hinder the door from opening. In the unlocked state, a projection is moved downward with a recess formed in the operational link, and the ratchet is disengaged from the latch to pout the door in condition as capable of being opened. The ends of a back plate 32 and a lock lever are folded at right angles, and an over-center spring 39 is mounted between these two folded edges 37, 38. The difference between the contraction and elongation of the over-center spring 39 is made greater than conventional. Thereby the sense of clicking motion in shifting from the locking to unlocking position is enhanced to serve precluding stop on the way of operation.</p> |
