<p>PURPOSE:To provide a sheet reversing device which can stably reverse a sheet without the occurrence of a folded or a clogged blank. CONSTITUTION:In a sheet reversing device whose reverse carrying passage where a recording paper 2 to be reversed is fed in is provided with a reversing roller 43a to rotate in a direction for returning the recording paper 2, a beating roller 43b which can be pressed against the reversing roller 43a, and a detecting means to detect the recording paper 2 coming out of the reverse carrying passage, the detection timing of the detecting means and the pressed contact timing of the beating roller 43b are made variable respectively, and the stroke quantity of a solenoid plunger to actuate the beating roller 43b is fixed. Thus reversing motion is made without the occurrence of a folded or a clogged blank, and reversing timing lag depending on the kind of the blank is compensated, and moreover wrong detection caused by a difference in carrying speed is prevented, and sheet reversing motion can be always stably executed.</p> |
