PURPOSE:To enhance the operating efficiency and reduce the cost of product by providing a mounting device for mounting a planar substance, a pressing device for press-fixing the planar substance on the mounting device by an air bag, and a working device for grinding and cutting the arbitrary part of the planar substance. CONSTITUTION:The working machine for a planar artificial stone includes a mounting device 8 for mounting a planar substance such as an artificial counter 10, a pressing device for press-securing the planar substance on the mounting device by injecting air into an air bag to allow its inflation, and a working device for grinding and cutting the arbitrary part of the planar substance. In this manner, each process is enable to be automized and thus grinding and cutting becomes capable of being worked continuously. Furthermore, soft press- fixture becomes available even against vibrations caused during the period of cutting of the planar counter 10 or like matters by the air bag 1, resulting in no scratches on the counter 10, or no cracking like defects at the time of pressing period. |
