Waste water sepn. - using light chamber in collection tank to determine if water can be used to flush toilets

For the use of water from washing machines, baths and wash basins and the like, for flushing toilets, the waste water is collected for sepn. to determine if it has to flow out as waste or whether it can be diverted to toilet cisterns. The water is passed for selection between the transmitter and receiver of a light chamber and between the sender/receiver unit and a reflector. A light chamber (1) is pref. in the container (7) below the water outlet (3), with the two electrodes (2) for the water sensor. A small channel (4) is worked at the valve seat (11) of the outflow valve (10). The electrodes (2) of the water sensor are also below the water outlet (3). USE/ADVANTAGE - The system is for individual households which use waste water for toilet flushing, and for high-rise buildings and in old dwelling blocks, houses with single and multiple occupancy, hotels and public buildings where the waste from washing machines, baths and wash basins can be used for flushing toilets. The operation gives a fully automatic selection of usable waste water, with low energy consumption, in a small space.
