Trampoline with jumping mat contained in frame - has springs between frame and mat covered by circular flexible disc overlapping frame cover

The trampoline has a jumping mat (2) the periphery of which is attached to the ends of springs (7) the other ends of which are fixed to the frame (1). A circular, flexible part (9) is sewn to the periphery of the jumping mat so as to point towards the frame and at least partly to cover the springs. The flexible circular part, made of textile or plastic fabric or in the form of a plastic disc or sheet, extends as far as underneath edging (3) covering the frame and which it overlaps. The edging points towards the jumping mat. USE/ADVANTAGE - The springs attaching the trampoline to its frame are prevented from injuring the participant, should they snap, by being covered by a circular edging cover deflecting the broken spring to the ground.
