The two wires (4,5) of the coiled cable (2) are connected at one end via a pref. standard trimmer potentiometer (44) to an NTC resistor (6), and at the other end to a plug (10) of cut-and-grip or crimp type for insertion into a socket (8) joined to another cable (12) to the controlled element (M). The socket provides for another input from a similar plug (18) at the end of a power supply cable (16) from a computer network (N). USE/ADVANTAGE - Esp. with temp.-responsive fan motor, sensor can be connected esp. easily and quickly irrespective of distance between sensor and controlled device.
