The clock system adjuster is at least for the display of the year. It has a device for the last use indication such that an operational voltage source (9) for the display (5) is activated after its switch-off. Pref. the adjuster has a CPU (4). The clock mechanism has a memory (6) for storing at least the year of the time point of the respective clock circuit (1). On switching of the circuit voltage source (2) after a switch-off, the content of the memory is read-out as starting value. The operational voltage source is a battery. USE/ADVANTAGE - For video tape recorder with built in camera, remote control instruction generator etc.. Improved and reliable operation. Low number of setting steps.
