Support for live rail on urban railways

Conductor rail support (20) for urban railways has a plastic holder which interlocks around the live rail (3) to maintain it at a fixed distance from the running rails. All rails (3) and supports (21) are mounted on sleepers (9). Support comprises two interlocking profiles (21,24). A section (22) of the holder (21) attaches the assembly to the sleepers (9) and the main part of the holder (21) supports the rail (3) through an integral nose (23). All holder parts (21-24) are mfd. in a thermoplastic material, esp. PBT, PE, PA, polyester, pref. recycled and containing glass reinforcement.
