The heterocyclic compounds having the general formula I <IMAGE> (I) wherein R3 is <IMAGE> wherein R' is H, C1-6-alkyl or C3-7-cycloalkyl; -B- is -C(R'')=N- or -N=C(R'')- wherein R'' is a cyclic amine or -NR'''R'''', wherein R''' and R'''' independently are H,C1-6-alkoxy, C3-7-cycloalkyl or C1-6-alkyl. The compounds are useful in psychopharmaceutical preparations as anticonvulsants, anxiolytics, hypnotics and in improving the cognitive function of the brain of mammals.
