PURPOSE: To provide a composition of a radiopaque material to intensify an image of the catheter inserted into the patient body, hard to delaminate from a catheter. CONSTITUTION: In an echo generating unit with an acoustic impedance different from the acoustic impedance of a patient tissue and with a member 501 insertable into a patient body, the insertable member 501 is characterized by consisting of a tube 502 made of a matrix material 503 and a rugged boundary surface 506 on the tube, the boundary surface 506 having an acoustic impedance different from that of the matrix material 503. |
