PURPOSE:To make a color reproducing range wide by preventing color mixture from occurring and to improve yield by providing an exchangeable color filter. CONSTITUTION:The thickness D2 of a substrate 5b near the microlens array 4 of a liquid crystal display panel 5 is made thicker than the thickness D1 of a substrate 5a being distant from the array 4. As the result, even when there is aberration on a microlens 4a and a focal distance is shorter than the thickness D2 of the substrate 5b near the array 4, the light conventionally causing the color mixture is shielded by the light shielding part of the panel 5 because the substrate 5a being distant from the array 4 is formed thin. That means, the light passed through a picture element electrode 10 is surely made incident on the corresponding color filter 6a. |
