PURPOSE:To prevent a brush from being damaged when it is attached, by engaging the brush with the peripheral edge around a rectangular hole edge bent upward as arc due to the curve of the bottom of a spring plate to prevent the brush from dropping off. CONSTITUTION:Both the side edges of a band-like spring plate 1 are bent inward obliquely as to the surface of the spring plate so that a recess 3 is defined by the bottom 1a of the spring plate 1 and its oblique side edges 2, 2. A rectangular hole 4 is opened in the bottom of the spring plate so that the length A of the hole is almost equal to that (a) of a brush 5 and the width B of the hole is smaller than that of the brush. Engaging recesses 6, 6 corresponding to the oblique side edges are provided on both the sides of the brush 5. The brush is manufactured by press- molding a powder in a direction perpendicular to the surface of Fig. This results in firmly fitting the brush on the band-like spring plate and preventing the brush from being damaged when it is attached to the spring plate. |
