<p>PURPOSE:To reduce a transmission cost per one picture by synthesizing plural picture signals, coding the result and sending the coded signal. CONSTITUTION:The device consists of picture reduction circuits 1a-1d reducing plural input picture signals, a multiplexer section 2 synthesizing the reduced signal into one synthesis picture signal, a coding circuit 3 coding the synthesized picture signal with a band, a transmission line interface circuit 4 sending the coded picture signal to a transmission line 111, a reception line interface circuit 5 receiving the coded picture signal from the transmission line 111, a decoding circuit 6 decoding the signal, a demultiplexer circuit 7 demultiplexing the synthesis picture signal into the reduced picture and picture magnification circuits 8a-8d magnifying each reduced picture signal and sending each picture signal to each terminal equipment.</p> |
