PURPOSE:To always enable to transmit data at a prescribed date and time to a host device at the time of retry by storing data at that date and time when the transmission of counter value summing-up is incapable at the prescribed date and time. CONSTITUTION:At the prescribed date and time, the data of a copy number stored in a memory area (ME) M1 of a RAM 43 are transmitted to the host device by a CPU 41. When the transmission is incapable by any reason such as the fault of a MODEM 45 or the trouble of the host device, however, the CPU 41 stored the data stored in the MEM 1 of the RAM 43 in a MEM 2. Afterwards, when a copying is performed in a copying main body, the data in MEM 1 are revised, however the data stored in the MEM 2 are preserved as data at the prescribed date and time are, and at every time certain period of time is lapsed, the CPU 41 always transmits the data preserved in the MEM 2 until the host device receives them. Thus, the data for a prescribed period of time are suitably transmitted, and the number of coped sheets can be easily managed. |
