PURPOSE:To provide the coin processor which can save handling time for adjusting the normal/defective discrimination level of coin every time coins are charged into a cash cassette. CONSTITUTION:A data memory 100 of a cash cassette 3 previously stores normal/defective discrimination level information for discriminating normal/ defective of coins to be charged. When this cash cassette 3 is mounted on a cash processor 2 for receipts and expenses, a control part 210 of the cash processor 2 reads the normal/defective discrimination level information from the memory 100 and based on this read normal/defective discrimination level information, the respective normal/defective discrimination level of first and second inspection parts 115 and 204 are respectively set. Based on the set normal/defective discrimination levels, the inspection parts 115 and 204 discriminate the normal/defective of coins to be charged in the cash cassette 3. |
