The invention provides purified polypeptides corresponding to endogenous ligands and active fragments thereof that specifically bind to the CDR4 of at least one T-cell receptor beta -chain. Binding agents, such as antibodies and nucleic acid probes, are also provided as well as isolated nucleic acids encoding the polypeptides. The invention further relates to methods of using these compounds for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. |
