A tilting mount device for a chair which provides synchronous tilting movement of the chair seat and back, where the tilting mount (1) has a first component (2) which is rigidly connected to the chair support (3) and a second component (5) connected to the chair seat (6) and the back support (7), and where a torsion rod unit (9) is provided at a front part of said first component (2). Said first component (2) and second component (5) are articulated to one another (8) at a second distance (D2) behind said torsion rod unit (9), and at a third distance (D3) from a rotatable connection (8) between said first component (2) and said second component (5). |
