<p>A pressure responsive spring valve (25) which is able to function at high pressures and temperatures, and can attain a high degree of precision control in a minimum of space, as well as an improved fuel injector (1, 1', 1'') which uses such a spring valve (25). A band-shaped spring valve member (29) is used to reduce the number of parts and the space requirements therefor. The spring valve member (29) is given a configuration which is different from that of the circumferential wall (26b) of the valve body (26) on which it sits, while producing a matching of their surfaces in the area of the outlet ports (28) of the valve body (26).</p> |
