An adsorption assembly continually cleans effluent industrial air by passing it through an absorbent such as a pile of active carbon which subsequently desorbs its load and is then cooled. the novelty is that the adsorent (3) is formed as a firm bed by virtue of vertical separation walls foring inner sectors (I, II, III,...) within an appropriate vessel (1); further that both above and below this bed (3) are synchronously operating push rotators (5) which expose the adsorbent contents of the divided inner sectors (A, B, C) through inlets (A2, B2, C2) by means of closures (A1, B1. C1) to the respective medium (gas effluent ]AL', desorent `DM', cooling air `KL'). USE - The adsorption assembly continually cleans effluent industrial air.
