PURPOSE:To prevent the infiltration of a magnetic substance from the outside and safely transport or install a magnet in the excited state by magnetically shielding the opening sections of the magnet with opening section magnetic shields. CONSTITUTION:A superconducting magnet device is constituted of a superconducting coil 1 formed into a cylindrical shape, a hollow cylindrical heat insulating container 2 storing the superconducting coil 1 and holding it in the extremely low temperature state, and a magnetic shield means 3 surrounding the heat insulating container 2. Magnetic shields 8 having the shape to surround the openings 6b, 6c of the specimen insertion section 6a of a magnet 6 are provided so that the magnetic field giving the same magnetic attraction as the tare weight to a magnetic substance such as an iron hammer, for example, is not leaked. The opening section magnetic shields 8 shielding the leakage magnetic field are provided at the openings 6b, 6c of the specimen insertion section 6a of the superconducting magnet 6, the infiltration of the magnetic substance from the outside can be prevented while the magnet 6 is excited, and the magnet 6 can safely be transported and installed in the excited state. |
