PHYSICAL DISTRIBUTION INFORMATION COLLECTION DEVICE

PURPOSE:To grasp delivery information in a real time for the elimination of mis-delivery and improved delivery efficiency by installing a bar code reader provided with a radio transmitter receiver on a delivery car which delivers merchandise for the transmission between the deliver car and a main office control part through tele-terminal system. CONSTITUTION:Merchandise information such as merchandise codes, delivery source codes and delivery place codes are read out from a bar code 12 attached to respective merchandise 11 which are commodities to be transported by a bar code reader 14 installed respectively on respective deliver cars at the time of carrying-out, and the read-out merchandise information and identification numbers of trucks preset for respective delivery cars 13 as well as the date when the delivery car 13 is loaded with the merchandise 11 are transmitted to a computer in a main office control part 17 by a radio transmitter receiver through a tele-terminal system 15 and a network 16. The main office control part 17 records the delivery information which are transmitted for respective merchandise 11 from the bar code reader 14 installed on the delivery car 13 for centralized control.
