PURPOSE:To provide an instrument panel which can ensure the bulging out of an air bag at the time of air bag unit action. CONSTITUTION:At the time of forming, an instrument panel is composed by using a core material integrally composed of an instrument panel core material and an air bag lid core material 26, and an outer skin 24 in which an instrument panel outer skin and an air bag lid outer skin are integral to each other, and assembly workability and the quality of economy due to the reduction of the number of components are drastically improved. In addition, stiches 28 to facilitate the break of the outer skin 24 are administered at portions opposite to the above instrument panel surface and air bag bulging out opening portion 25 side edges as well. |
