PURPOSE:To provide a battery which can be handled as if it was a battery consisting of a solid electrolyte, excels in the ion conductivity, and exhibits a high electroconductivity. CONSTITUTION:Electrodes 2, 4 and lead electrodes 21, 41 for them are furnished on both surfaces of an electrolytic substance base 3 prepared by impregnating a porous support with an electrolyte for retention thereof, and this is decompressed and sealed with insulative layers 1, 5 interposed in the condition that the lead electrodes are protruded outward. Thus a battery is formed. Accordingly carrier ions move in the gaseous state through the electrolytic substance base, and the electrode has excellent tight attachment to lead to high conductivity, and also easy handling is ensured. |
