PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of such a defect as a noise at the time of connecting boards by enabling the bushing terminal material having a pullout prevention collar to be formed at a cold forging process. CONSTITUTION:A process for sandwiching and gradually pressing a metal material 12 cut to the predetermined length with a male die 15 and a female die 13, is repeated by a plurality of times. A terminal section is thereby forged at one side of the material 12 and a bushing section 7 at the other side. Thereafter, a hole 6 having gradual taper is forged through the end of the bushing section 7, and this section 7 having the hole 6 is pressed with upper and lower dies 18 and 17. A pullout prevention collar 11 is thereby forged on the external surface of the section 7. As a result, the surface of a terminal material can be formed to be smooth. |
