PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy in detection of the rotating condition of a rotor by enlarging the S/N of an FG signal, taking the difference of an FG signal which has a phase difference of a specified value, and detecting the direction of the rotation of the rotor by the difference of the FG signal which has other specified phase difference. CONSTITUTION:Magnetosensitive elements 6a and 6b are arranged so that the phase difference between an FG signal P or Q 90 deg. different in phase, outputted from the magnetosensitive element 6a of a sensor 6, for detecting the rotating condition of a rotor 1 and an FG signal P' or Q'' 90 deg. different in phase, outputted from the magnetosensitive element 6b may be 90 deg. each. And, the S/N of the FG signal is enlarged, taking the difference of the signal having the phase difference of 180 deg., and the direction of the rotor is detected by the difference of the signal having the phase difference of 90 deg. Hereby, the accuracy in detection of the rotating state of the rotor can be improved. |
