PURPOSE:To widen a range findable distance while keeping the same range- finding accuracy as in the conventional manner. CONSTITUTION:Light projecting means 7 and 8 selectively project light beams of at least two kinds of wavelength, and an irradiation position varying means 9 is provided, which changes an incident position on a light receiving means 5 in accordance with the wavelength of the light beam projected from the means 7 and 8 and reflected on the object of range-finding 6. Then, the incident position on the light receiving means 5 is changed by the means 9 in accordance with the wavelength of the light beam reflected on the object 6. |
