PURPOSE:To shorten the time required for deciding spare/normal of a memory having a spare cell and a normal cell and to attain high speed operation. CONSTITUTION:When an address is given to a storing means having a spare address and a normal address from a counting means 7, before the counting means 7 supplying an address to the storing means outputs the address, the address outputted from the counting means 7 is fetched by means of a spare/ normal discriminating means 5 and decision is made whether the address is a spare address or a normal address. Based on the decision, the address given to the storing means by selection means 3, 4 is changed over to the normal address or the spare address. |
