PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device adopting a novel control system for which bar codes are used. CONSTITUTION:A bar code reader 600 is adopted for reading bar codes. The bar code reader 600 connects with a CPU 400a of a copying machine via an interface 610 and performs the reading of bar codes on the instruction by the operation of a prescribed key of an operation board 300. The data of the bar codes read by the bar code reader 600 is used for the recording in a RAM 400c, the comparison with the data stored already in the RAM 400c and further the delete of the data stored already in the RAM 400c, etc. In a bar code control mode, a state that copying is possible is made only when the data of the bar code read by the bar code reader 600 and the bar code data registered preliminarily in the RAM 400c. |
