PURPOSE:To provide the image forming device where generation of condensation of dew is prevented, furthermore heat dissipating effect is not lowered and moreover no adverse influence is imparted on an image due to disturbance of ejection of ozone by providing a shutter retracted to a specified position under normal use in the clam shell type image forming device where a fixing device is separated into the top and the bottom. CONSTITUTION:When the clam shell type image forming device is in an opened state, the shutter 17 is rotated up to a position covering the surface of a fixing thin film 8 and when the image forming device is in a closed state, the shutter 17 is retracted to the side upstream in the direction of carrying of the recording material than the fixing device 7. Furthermore, the device is so constituted that air passage of an exhaust fan 15 is not blocked by the shape or the position of the shutter 17 in this retracted position. |
