PURPOSE:To improve the wire stretching method of a cable used to interconnect a BS converter and a BS tuner and to avoid the restriction of a distance. CONSTITUTION:In the satellite broadcast reception unit in which a satellite broadcast radio wave collected by a BS antenna 1 installed outdoor is frequency- converted by a BS converter 2 and the converted signal is fed to a BS tuner 3 installed indoor, from which an video signal and an audio signal are outputted, a power supply unit 4 is provided with a solar battery cell 4a to supply power to the BS converter 2. A light collection plate 5 is used to supply the sun ray to a solar battery cell 4a fixed to the circumferential end surface and is made of a plastic containing a fluorescent coloring matter 5a. An optical fiber transmission line 6 is used to interconnect the BS converter 2 and the BS tuner 3 and an electrooptic converter 6a added to the BS converter 2, a photoelectric converter 6b added to the BS tuner 3 and an optical cable 6c interconnecting both the converters 6a, 6b is provided. |
