<p>Automatic metering device 1 for paints in which a supporting structure 10 having a trapezoidal frame carries sixteen straight tracks 35 along each of which runs a respective slide 38 which is caused to reciprocate by a pneumatic actuator 41. Each slide 38 is integral with an upper end of an arm 43 whose lower end carries a metering valve 44. Each arm 43 can move between a lateral position of rest in which the slide 38 is at one end, the first end, of the track 35, and a position of activation in which the slide 38 is at the other or second end of the track 35 and the metering valve 44 is connected to a valve-opening device underneath the supporting structure 10 and is able to open the said valve 44.
