To produce construction material from sludge from water purification, it is mixed with ash from incinerators and/or converters together with ferrous-manganeses sludges. The ashes include excavated residue from potash and salt mines. The mixed material is used for support piles in potash and salt mines. USE/ADVANTAGE - The material can be used as supports in potash and salt mines, without the use of cement, and exploits ferrous-manganese sludges which are a disposal problem.
