PURPOSE:To reduce the occupancy ratio of an ozone filter in a machine and to effectively use a space by installing the ozone filter in an image carrier and making air flow into the ozone filter. CONSTITUTION:A primary corona electrifier 9 and a transfer corona electrifier 11 are covered with a duct 20 except a part facing a photosensitive drum 3. The duct 20 is communicated with the end part of the drum in the longitudinal direction in the drum 3. An opening part for connecting the inside of the photosensitive drum 3 to the outside is connected with a suction fan 18 through the duct. The ozone filter 17 is installed in the photosensitive drum 3. The air flow is formed in the photosensitive drum 3 by rotating the suction fan 18. Then, the ozone generated from the corona electrifiers 9 and 11 is sucked into the photosensitive drum 3 with the air flow, and then, the ozone is decomposed, adsorbed and removed by the ozone filter 11. And then, the air free from ozone is discharged. |
