PURPOSE:To easily automatize the manufacture line without size dispersion by mounting a piezoelectric element on a case with a lead terminal, connecting a mount electrode to the lead terminal, providing a cavity on the surface of a vibration electrode of the piezoelectric element and filling and curing the resin. CONSTITUTION:A vibration electrode 3 is provided on the front side and the rear side of a piezoelectric substrate 2 opposite to each other with the piezoelectric substrate 2 inbetween. The piezoelectric element 5 is formed by providing a mount electrode 4 in connection to the electrode 3. The piezoelectric element 5 is mounted on a case 16 in which a lead terminal 6 is integrated in the insert mold and the mount electrode 4 is soldered to the lead terminal 6. Then wax is adhered onto the surface of the electrode 3, a resin 18 is filled into the case 16 to resin-coat the surrounding of the piezoelectric element 5. As soon as the resin is cured, the wax is evaporated to form the cavity 19 on the surface of the electrode 3 thereby sealing the piezoelectric element 5 and manufacturing the piezoelectric resonator. Thus, the dispersion in the outer size of the piezoelectric resonator is reduced to facilitate the automatizing of the manufacture line. |
