The fixing plate is made up of a piece of a metal strip (2) having aligned holes on the form of circular holes (9,18) and slots (11,19) for the passage of screws (10,20) or bolts (13). One end (2a) of this plate is fixed to the support (5) by means of a fixing screw (10) through the hole (9) or (11) in the plate whilst the other end (2b) is provisionally fixed to the attached element (3) by means of a bolt (13) passing through a slot (19) in the plate. The attached element is adjusted into position and clamped up by the aid of a screw (20) passing through a hole (18) in the plate (2) and engaging in the attached element (3). The fixing holes in the plate are made up of two rows (15,16) of alternating slots (11,19) and holes (9,18) that are staggered by half a pitch on in relation to the other. Use/Advantage - A fixing plate of a attached element such as a door frame in an opening which allows for adjustment before being finally fixed in position.
