The respiratory supply (4) is linked to the mask (3) via a hollow body (5) with a connector member (6) and a pin (7) at its respective ends. The pin has a lateral wall (8) which cooperates with a releasable clip for attachment of the mask nose piece. A longitudinally movable catch (9) cooperates with an elastic biassing spring (10) located within the hollow body. The pin and catch are ready for connection or disconnection while in unconnected and connected positions respectively. The assembly is symmetrical about a longitudinal axis (2). USE/ADVANTAGE - Rapid connection and separation, preventing delays in supply of respiratory gases to face piece of respiratory mask.
