PURPOSE:To amplify only the laser light of specified light emission duration and repetition frequency, and enable the high repetition output of laser light having short light emission duration and large power, by combining a solid laser equipment for oscillation with a solid laser equipment for amplification. CONSTITUTION:When light energy enters a solid laser rod 1 for oscillation in a solid laser equipment part for oscillation, laser light to be amplified whose output is 1W or smaller, whose light emission duration is 100nsec or shorter, and whose repetition frequency is 10kHz or higher is outputted, in virtue of the amplifying action of a resonator and the controlling action of an A/O-Q switch 3 for the Q-value of the resonator. When the laser light for pumping whose light energy is small, whose light emission duration is short, and whose repetition frequency is high enters a solid laser rod 8 for amplification in a solid laser equipment for amplification, the laser rod 8 is sinchronously turned into the excited state, and the laser for pumping is amplified. Thereby the light energy is increased while the light emission duration is kept almost constant. |
