PURPOSE:To widen the band of the frequency characteristic of the antenna by making the resonance frequencies of respective microstrip line elements different by utilizing that a dielectric constant is changed in the thickness change direction of a dielectric block. CONSTITUTION:A dielectric block 7 is constituted by laminating first and second dielectric boards 5 and 6, for which dielectric constants are different from each other and the thickness is linearly changed, so as to fix the thickness after overlapping them. A ground conductor 3 is provided on one face in counter to this laminating direction A, serial array antennas 2A-2D composed of radial microstrip line elements 2a-2d and a feeding circuit 4 are provided on the other face, and feeding is performed. Further, the antennas 2A-2D are provided with two or more radial microstrip lines elements 23a-2d (e.g. four elements) in the change direction B of the dielectric boards 5 and 6. Thus, the dielectric constant of the block 7 is changed in the change direction of the thickness ratio, the resonance frequencies of radiators are changed together with the change of the dielectric constant, and the frequency band is widened. |
