PURPOSE:To simplify the hardware constitution furthermore to not only perform the color correction of high precision but also control reproducing of achromatic color. CONSTITUTION:Lower bit signals DELTAr, DELTAg, and DELTAb of a color signal are inputted to a comparator 1 and are compared with one another to output a signal (s) which selects one of six tetrahedrons. Upper bit signals (r), (g), and (b) of the color signal are inputted to a memory 5 to select one of plural cubes, and a correction coefficient a4 of the selected cube is read out of the memory. Upper bit signals and the selecting signal (s) are inputted to memories 2, 3, and 4, and correction coefficients a1, a2, and a3 of the tetrahedron are read out. These correction coefficients and lower bit signals are multiplied by multipliers 6, 7, and 8, and the results and the coefficient a4 are added by an adder 9, and a color correction output Y is obtained through a limiter 10. |
