SNOWMOBILE ANTI-THEFT DEVICE

A novel rack locking system for snowmobiles, ATV's, and other small vehicles that can be stolen by being lifted onto other vehicles. In the described embodiment the rack accommodates two such small vehicles, which are easily fastened by Pins projecting from sliding clamps; the clamps are then locked together. Thus the two vehicles and rack are virtually impossible to remove. Optionally, a permanent fastening of the rack to the ground or wall or other fixed structure adds greater security. Finally since one end of the vehicle is raised onto the rack, freezing-in of the vehicle in near-freezing usage conditions, a continuous problem in northern countries, is effectively avoided.
