The valve is of the 2/2 type. An ID (D) of a piston bush (54) which holds the sealing bush (56) is greater than the dia. (d) of a sealing ring (50) between a cover (26) and a valve housing (2). The surface of the piston bush (6) directed towards the cover is so pressure-relieved that the pressure forces acting on the piston bush always give a corrected value irrespective of the pressure forces which prevail at the valve element (40). USE/ADVANTAGE - The valve and the O-ring seals are able to operate in a high pressure system with a considerably longer operating life.
