The game score display system includes a base station (1), transmitter units (2,3) and display unit (19). The various components are connected by a communications link, which may be ultrasonic, infra-red or radio. The base station contains an LCD display (24), communication link (4), battery charger (27), serial port (6) and buttons 'Display Counter' (12) and 'Programme from Serial' port (2). The display unit (19) has two two-digit displays (20,21), LCD display (26) and control buttons (8,9,10,11); and timing unit (18). A payment system is also included. Use of the system is dependent on payment for the metering period. The display system has a solar cell unit (5). USE - Tennis and similar game score display and metering court use.
