PURPOSE:To reduce the amount of jobs by automatically updating a file by respectively judging the possibility of version-up at all the information processors on a communication network when a certain information processor on the communication network requests the update of the file. CONSTITUTION:When an update request part 101 requests the update of the file, a packet preparation part 104 prepares a packet from the information of a request source file in a request source file information recording part 102 and the request source file of an update source file recording part 103. The packet is sent from a packet transmission part 105 to the communication network as a broadcast packet. This packet is fetched by the packet reception part of each information processor on the communication network and divided into the information of the update source file and the update source file by a packet analysis part. Then, an update condition comparison part compares the information of the update destination file information recording part with the information of the update source file and when the condition of version-up is satisfied, the update destination file is updated with the update source file. Therefore, the files on the plural information units can be automatically updated.
