PURPOSE:To cut down expenses accompanying transport-transfer and installation of an apparatus and also to prevent the lowering of the precision of a drive part, by executing the fixation and release of the drive part automatically on the basis of drive signals from an operation input means. CONSTITUTION:During transport or transfer, each drive part of a copying machine is fixed by a retaining-fixing part comprising a keep solenoid, a shape memory alloy, a stepping motor, etc., and a power source during the transfer is backed up by a battery. When the drive part is fixed, a manufacturer or a service man operates an operating part 168 to set a serviceman program mode (sp mode) so as to specify a lock mode. Main CPU 142 outputs a retention-fixation code to the retaining-fixing part to make it operate, and when the fixation of the drive part is completed, packing completion information is displayed in the operating part 168. For releasing the fixation, the sp mode is set and a lock release mode is specified by the operating part 168. Then the CPU 142 outputs a retention-fixation release code to release the fixation of the drive part, and unpacking information is displayed in the operating part 168. |
