PURPOSE:To increase or decrease the pump discharge flow within the preset range by connecting a pump discharge side passage to a cam ring control mechanism, and connecting a pump suction side passage provided with a variable orifice. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 3 provided with multiple vanes 5 is stored in a cam ring 6 eccentrically rotated against the rotor 3. When the variable orifice 33 of a pump suction side passage 30 is operated to change its passage area, the pressure of the pump suction side passage 30 is changed, and the pressure difference between the pressure of a pump discharge side passage 29 and the pressure of the pump suction side passage 30 applied to a control mechanism 10 is changed. The control mechanism 10 is reacted to the change of the pressure difference to rotate the cam ring 6. The eccentric quantity between the cam ring 6 and the rotor 3 is changed, and the pump discharge quantity is increased or decreased within the preset range. |
