To provide a resin composition having improved mechanical, sliding and adhesive properties while keeping excellent moldability, heat resistance, flame retardancy and crystallizability of PAS resin composition. A polyarylene sulfide resin composition comprising: (A) 100 parts by weight of a polyarylene sulfide resin, and incorporated thereinto, (B) 0.5 to 50 parts by weight of a graft copolymer comprising polyethylene (a) chemically bonded to one or more polymers or copolymers (b) composed of styrene and/or acrylonitrile recurring units to form a branched or crosslinked structure, (C) 0.01 to 5 parts by weight of at least one silane compound selected from the group consisting of aminoalkoxysilanes, epoxyalkoxysilanes, mercaptoalkoxysilanes and vinylalkoxysilanes, and (D) 0 to 400 parts by weight of an inorganic filler.
