PURPOSE:To prevent any packing case from falling off from the stack by a method wherein each packing case is provided with a plurality of U-shaped legs on the outer side of its bottom plate and a small projection is formed on the underside of each leg to restrain the packing case above from movement on the one below when a number of the packing cases are stacked. CONSTITUTION:The packing case 1 is composed of a bottom plate member 2, a top lid plate member 3 and side plates 4 lying therebetween. The bottom and lid plate members 2 and 3 have corner protectors 5b made of angle material fixed to the peripheral edges of their respective square lower and upper plates 5a and the bottom plate member 2 has U-shaped legs 5c fixed to its outer side. Each of the legs 5c is provided with a small projection 6 on its underside. For this reason, when the packing case above moves a distance D on the one below during transit of a number of the stacked packing cases 1, the small projections 6 are brought into contact with the corner protectors 5b or the frame members 5d of the packing case below to restrain the one above from further movement. |
