<p>PURPOSE:To provide a device capable of discharging a sheet without damaging the sheet while giving stiffness to the sheet by providing a discharge roller to be rotated and two driven roller making contact with it, rotatably supporting the driven rollers by an elastic body, and energizing the driven rollers to be pressed onto the discharge roller. CONSTITUTION:A paper discharge device has a discharge roller 45 to be rotated and two identical driven rollers 46a, 46b making contact with the discharge roller 45. The driven rollers 46a, 46b are rotatably supported by an elastic body 47 and energized to be pressed onto the discharge roller 45. For example, the discharge roller 45 is formed of a rubber roller, and fitted and fixed onto a rotating shaft 48 rotated by a motor. The driven rollers 46a, 46b are formed of synthetic resin rollers, and rotatably arranged and fitted onto a spring 47, and both ends of the spring 47 are fixed to a copying machine body. When a sheet P is passed between the discharge roller 45 and the driven rollers 46a, 46b, the sheet P is waved, and a stiffness PS is given to the sheet P.</p> |
