PRODUCTION OF STAPHYLOKINASE

PURPOSE:To provide the method for producing the staphylokinase having a fibrinolytic action by a genetic recombination technique. CONSTITUTION:The method for producing the staphylokinase by culturing Escherichia coli recombined with a staphylokinase-producing gene is characterized by adding a saccharide-originated carbon source to medium components in an amount of >=0.2%, accumulating the produced staphylokinase in a culturing solution and subsequently collecting the staphylokinase from the cultured solution.
