PURPOSE:To keep the wet performance of a tire high and effectively reduce noise generated at the tread part. CONSTITUTION:In a pneumatic tire comprising plural number of circumferential groove 2 positioned on the tread part 1 at cross direction intervals, and extending circumferentially and continuously, the confronting both walls 3 of respective circumferential grooves 2, are widely enlarged outward in the radial direction, at least in an area in the vicinity of the tread surface and the depth a of these enlarged parts 3a is set to be in the range of 10-90% of the depth (b) of the circumferential groove 2. |
